Hospitality at Grace UMC
Serving on the Sunday Morning Hospitality Team is a wonderful way to share the grace and love of God with all who enter our building! This ministry welcomes newcomers to Grace UMC, ensuring all who enter our building on Sunday morning experience the intentionally open and kind spirit of our congregation.
There are multiple opportunities to serve on the Sunday Morning Hospitality Team as either a Greeter or an Usher. Sign up for a shift

GREETERS
Greeters are called to welcome people to Grace UMC, connect with newcomers, and guide them around the building—whether directing them to restrooms, helping families to the Nursery, or introducing ministry leaders. Greeters are often the first point of contact at Grace UMC. There are three different shifts available to serve as a Greeter.
SHIFT ONE | 8:15-9:15 AM
SHIFT TWO | 9:15-10:00 AM
SHIFT 3 | 10:00-10:35
USHERS
Ushers serve an important role in the liturgy of a church and worship service, just as do the acolytes, musicians, clergy, liturgists, communion servers, lay readers, and those delivering the children’s message. Ushers pass out bulletins, pass out and gather attendance pads, collect and present offerings, and turn in attendance at the end of the service. Ushers at Grace UMC serve from 10:10-11:15 am.
