This year's Lenten series is everything [in] between: Meeting God in the midst of extremes from A Sanctified Art. This series allows the Gospel of Luke to guide us through Lent, beginning with Jesus setting his face toward Jerusalem (Luke 9:51) and flowing through several familiar stories—the Good Samaritan, Mary and Martha, the fruitless fig tree, the Lost Sheep, Zacchaeus, and more. Through this sermon series, devotionals, and small groups, we will navigate the polarities in our lives with more faith, intention, and openness to being transformed.

Small Groups

Small groups will meet for five weeks starting the week of March 9th. For more information or to register, visit www.graceumc-stl.org/smallgroup. Devotionals are available at the church for anyone who wants one (no small group participation required).

Special Easter Offering: Welcome Neighbor STL

Welcome Neighbor STL has been designated as the recipient of this year’s special Easter offering. The mission of Welcome Neighbor STL is to partner with refugee and immigrant families, connecting them with the people and opportunities that will empower them to build and live their best life in their new country. Their programs provide housing, employment support, literacy training and essential services to newly arrived refugees who no longer have agency resettlement support. For the past couple of years, Catherine Winn and Pauline Kim have headed up a team at Grace that has partnered with a Welcome Neighbor refugee family from Afghanistan. Grace has also hosted Welcome Neighbor supper clubs. You may give by putting your offering in the special giving envelope on Easter Sunday, using the Special Offering Christmas/Easter envelope on Faith Teams, or writing Easter Offering or Welcome Neighbor STL in your check memo line.
